You can win at the business game, but most don’t!

 

The 80/20 principle STILL applies to many markets despite AI:

• 20% of businesses will achieve 80% of the market money and success
• 4% will achieve 64% of the market money and success
• And just 0.8% will achieve 51% of the market money and success!

This means about 1 in every 100 businesses will get HALF of future wealth.

Some markets have become more 90/10 or even 95/5 … increasing the stakes.

The middle will muddle along, treading water at best. 1 in 5 (or more) will suffer potentially crushing losses.

… and that is in NORMAL economic times.

For most businesses, it is not normal economic times.

Uncertainty, fear, and doubt haven’t gone away this year like many hoped. AI has accelerated change and contributes to uncertainty on top of multiplying political and economic uncertainties.

During uncertainty, the business stakes are even higher. The $ pie is usually temporarily smaller, leaving at least the bottom 80% of businesses facing economic storms.

Yet the more uncertainty,  the MORE OPPORTUNITY for those willing to take action. You can:

• Outperform competitors when it is easiest – the opposite of conventional thinking – while keeping to the high road.
• Breakout into the lead, by doing the opposite of what most will do … go on offense when others are only on defense or not reacting at all.

• Hold fast to your values and your sanity regardless of external forces
